Fourth Grade

Ms. Norman

Mrs. Norman is a member of the Cunningham fourth grade team. She was born and raised in Southern California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Santa Barbara and earned a multiple subject teaching credential at San Francisco State University. Subsequently, Ms. Norman attended California State University Stanislaus where she received a Mathematics Curriculum credential and a Reading Specialist credential.

Ms. Norman has taught at two other Turlock locations, Osborn and Crowell elementary schools.

She is the fourth grade representative to the Site Leadership Committee and the Cunningham PTA. Ms. Norman is also on the Garden Committee.

Ms. Ponte

Ms. Ponte teaches a 3-4-combination class. She was born and raised in Turlock. She has two pet dogs.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and her multiple subject teaching credential at California State University, Stanislaus. She continued her education at CSUS and received a second Bachelor of Arts degree; Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities as well as an Autism Authorization. In addition, Ms. Ponte earned a Master of Arts degree in Special Education.

She is a member of the Science committee and operates the Star Lab. She works in the After School Homework Club and is participating in the Direct Instruction Reading Intervention in partnership with CSUS.
