Third Grade

Alejandro Acevedo

Alejandro Acevedo is a member of the third grade team. He was born in Mexico City and raised in East Los Angeles. Mr. Acevedo has five children and one granddaughter.

Mr. Acevedo attended Cabrillo College in Aptos, California where he earned an Early Childhood Education credential. Later he attended University of California, Santa Cruz where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Studies and received a Bilingual, Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development credential.

Prior to teaching at Cunningham, Mr. Acevedo taught in Pajaro Valley Unified School District, the Los Banos Unified School District, and the Gustine Unified School District.

Here at Cunningham, he is a member of the Language Arts Committee, is a certificated representative to the School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee. In addition, Mr. Acevedo teaches English as a Second Language for adults in the evenings on the Cunningham campus.

Mrs. Delgadillo

Mrs. Delgadillo is a long standing member of the Cunningham 3rd grade team. She was raised in Empire, California. She has two children – a high school junior at Pitman High School and a 7th grader at Turlock Junior High.

Mrs. Delgadillo attended Modesto Junior College where she earned an Associate of Arts degree, California State University Stanislaus where she earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bilingual Cross-cultural Language in Academic Development authorization.

She is a member of the Mathematics Committee and participates in Math Night, the 3rd grade Leadership Team representative, and an Odyssey of the Mind coach.


ms. sullivan

Mrs. Ashley Sullivan is a new teacher on the Cunningham 3rd grade team. She is married and has 2 boys. Mrs. Sullivan also has a dog and chickens.

She was born and raised in Turlock, California where she also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Additionally, Mrs. Sullivan received her multiple subject teaching credential with authorizations in English and Social Studies.
